
In 2022, I served as a content programming consultant for a digital wellness brand with a member base of more than 1 million subscribers. The brand was transitioning from a third-party streaming service to a custom-built platform which required the development of a new content management system from scratch.
I designed and implemented a comprehensive tagging, archival, and video categorization system for hundreds of previously untagged videos, enhancing operational efficiency and user experience. I played a crucial role in content planning, programming, and calendarization, managing diverse video content and scheduling for a newly expanded website and mobile app.
My work involved curating content across different formats, managing the integration of seven new creators, and ensuring the quality and alignment of all content with the platform's brand and user expectations. I collaborated closely with video production, marketing, tech, and client success teams to ensure seamless content delivery and user satisfaction. Here are the key skills I leveraged during this experience:
Content Management System (CMS) Design: I developed and implemented a robust system for tagging and categorizing hundreds of videos, enhancing content discoverability and organization, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new platform.
Content Planning and Programming: I developed detailed content calendars (weekly, monthly, and yearly) to manage the scheduling of diverse video content, including different workout types, durations, and fitness goals. This involved balancing the scheduling of existing content with offerings from seven new creators onboarding to the platform.
Content Expansion and Diversification: I oversaw the integration of new content formats and categories, expanding the platform’s offerings to include lifestyle, nutrition, and beauty content in addition to its well-loved fitness content.
Platform Development Support: I played a crucial role in integrating and programming wellness content to support user engagement, contributing to the evolution of the brand’s platform (which included a newly expanded website and a native mobile app).
Cross-functional Collaboration: I worked closely with video production, marketing, tech, and client success teams to ensure seamless content integration.
Quality Control: I individually reviewed each new video to ensure high standards of content accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
